Help The Woman Campaign is a non-profit initiative dedicated to raising awareness about cervical cancer and HPV prevention among Nigerian women. We believe that no woman should lose her life to a preventable disease. By empowering communities with knowledge and mobilizing local health structures, we aim to break stigmas, promote early screening, and inspire healthier futures for generations to come.
Cervical cancer is preventable, yet it remains one of the leading causes of death among women in Nigeria. Our work focuses on education, community mobilization, and partnerships with primary health centers to ensure women—especially in rural areas—have access to life-saving information and services.
Community Engagement: Bringing information directly to women through market storms, radio programs, and local leaders.
Volunteer Mobilization: Training local volunteers to serve as health ambassadors within their communities.
Cultural Sensitivity: Delivering messages in Ibibio, Oron, and Ekid dialects to overcome language and literacy barriers.
Behavioral Change: Breaking myths and inspiring women to prioritize their health and take preventive action.
Join us in creating a world where women’s health is a priority. Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the message, your involvement fuels a movement that saves lives.
Help The Woman Campaign started with a simple question: “Why are women still dying from a preventable disease?” In rural communities across Nigeria, too many women lack access to vital health information and early screening. Our founders saw this gap and launched a grassroots movement to bring education, hope, and change directly to the women who need it most.
We envision a future where every woman knows her worth, understands her health, and has access to life-saving prevention.
By combining awareness campaigns, community volunteer training, and partnerships with local health centers, we are building a sustainable model for women’s health advocacy in Akwa Ibom and beyond.
