Stronger Together for Women’s Health and Empowerment

Dear Community Members, Supporters and Friends of Help The Woman Campaign,

We’re thrilled to share an inspiring update on the powerful partnerships and government collaborations that are propelling the Help The Woman Campaign Itybulous Foundation to greater impact across Akwa Ibom State and beyond.

Over the past months, through your unwavering support and God’s grace, we have secured strategic collaborations with key ministries and government agencies. These partnerships are not just names on paper: they are active allies in our mission to eliminate cervical cancer, empower women economically, and amplify the voice of every woman in our communities.

Our Government Partnerships Include

  • Ministry of Health: Working closely to expand access to free cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccinations, and life-saving health information for thousands of women.
  • Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Welfare: Collaborating to reach vulnerable women and girls with economic empowerment programs, training, and psychosocial support.
  • Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs: Supporting our community outreaches, especially in hard-to-reach and underserved areas, ensuring no woman is left behind.
  • Ministry of Information: Amplifying awareness campaigns across radio, TV, and local channels to fight stigma, spread education, and reach over 2 million people with preventive messages.
  • Ministry of Finance: Engaged in budget alignment and financial support frameworks to enable the sustainability and scaling of our programs.
  • State Secondary Education Board: Facilitating access to adolescent girls through schools, integrating HPV vaccination drives and menstrual hygiene education into the school health system.

These alliances are the product of what happens when advocacy meets action, when government and civil society come together with one shared goal: to protect, empower, and uplift our women.

We thank all stakeholders, volunteers, and every hand that has labored behind the scenes to make this possible. Project UWUS and all our future campaigns are gaining ground because we are building on a solid foundation: you.

What’s Next?

Stay connected as we roll out more outreach programs, school-based health campaigns, skill empowerment workshops, and leadership development programs for women across the 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom State.

Together, we are not just running a campaign. We are building a movement.

With deep gratitude,
HTWC Team
Every woman deserves the best.
